i'm about to buy mpt.been wanting it for a while but haven't gotten it yet so i haven't paid much attention to the posts about it.so does the blue tooth work well with the mpt?do i need to get the cable or the bluetooth connector for my computer? also is there a way to get free mpt on the internet or do i need to fork over the extra 10-15 dollars for the disk?thanks for your help. 😁 😁 😁

*while in MPT, do this:
setup>general setup>change modem>click do not detect>Next>Moto CDMA>v710M
this allows you to use the MMS (mp3s, pics, etc.)

yeah it does. thanks.i don't plan on flashing anytime soon(if ever)so i guess it would be a good idea for me to just buy the cable and not the bt,don't you think?

well, all the BT I would really need is for the Earpiece. I may use it to transfer info every now and then. But there are many good things about the flash, so I think I may go ahead with it. I've got the cable and a Belkin BT dongle. But again, I'm not too worried right now about BT file transfer. As a modem it's cool though.
Bottom line, I would get the new flash, and get a cable, and download MPT and you'll be all good. And then decide on BT later if you like.

Add a new 041a seem after the new VZW flash. Here's how:

2. download seems.zip here:
http://www.inetron.com/vzw/Custom_Images/ »
after all that, open up p2kseem_V710, upload "041a_0001_Latest_SD.seem" to your phone. Then you are done.
Once you install the software, the 041a is already edited and ready to go. Just upload it. Literally takes seconds.
