Disable Camera?

Junebug2005

It's not at all that I'm unhappy with the quality of the pictures--my employer just implemented a no camera phones allowed policy. Well, I LOVE my V710 and I shouldn't have to get rid of it just because of one feature. Is there some way I can disable the camera (aside from putting a piece of black tape over the lens)?

Thanks!

Well, if you want to go extreme, you can take it apart and take the lens out (and glue something over the hole). I recall a post within a month after the phone came out that (I think) linked to a post on Howard Forums or some website that showed in GREAT detail how to take the phone apart to look at/try to fix the tilted camera problem. With the search function here you can probably find that post.

Again, extreme, but probably reversable if you document it all in detail.
