VZW banner - help!!
On my phone, I decided to try to make a banner. I went to settings-->personalize-->home screen-->banner and set one up.
Now, however, it only displays sporadically. Most of the time, it displays "Verizon Wireless" despite the fact that it should display my banner. Even when it desplays my banner, if I go to a menu and then press "end" to go back to the home screen, "Verizon Wireless" returns.
Does everyone else have this problem too, or is it just me. Is there any way to fix this problem?

It alternates. It's designed that way. You'll see "Verizon Wireless" 50% of the time and your banner the other 50%

Well, it's controlled that way, maybe not designed that way. I'm not sure how it works with other service providers other than VZW...I'm suspecting it's a VZW control. In either case, you/we are stuck with it.

or you could just use Bitpim and delete it all together...this includes the external screen as well 😁

Yeah. I dunno. Mine definitely doesn't go 50/50. It's more like 20/80 (80% VZW). I guess we are stuck. It's just like VZW to do this. GRRR....

So little help for such and easy question
1st of the custom bannor your designate will diplay as long as you are in a "home " or verizon network but if you leave the verizon owned antenneas and enter the extended network your phone will display verizon wireless.
You can live with it or you can edit the seem to get rid of it or change it to what you want it to say.
you will need a few programs that you can find on google
1) PSt 7
2) pk2seem
3) a good usb cable
instructions can be found here

I dunno. I'm definitely in a home area (as far as I know). The banner seems to appear only at random times.
