Should I buy this phone?

This will be my first ever camera/bluetooth phone. Basically, my first higher-end phone. My last phone was a Kyocera SE47 Slider. So yeah, this is a big step up. What I'm wondering is basically, is this phone worth it? Since I'm not exactly well-versed in phone technology/features, I'll say what I'm looking for and you can tell me if this phone will satisfy me. First:

1. Basic calling/text messaging
2. Decent camera
3. MP3 Ringtones
4. Cool-looking

(I don't even know what bluetooth is exactly, but from what I understand, this phone doesn't support the file transfer feature. Does this mean that I will have to buy this TransFlash card I've been hearing so much about?)

Thanks for any replies, and sorry if my writing is incohe...

Forgot to mention, the only reason I really want the bluetooth feature is for the MP3 ringtones. Can I get this with a different phone, or is this the only way?

If your gonna get this kind of phone.. Might as well wait for the E815.

Ok, I dont think you'll be able to to swap ringtones with any BT phone VZW offers, since their BT phone's OBEX feature is crippled. Unless they unblock that feature (which I doubt) and I was not aware of. If you still want a BT phone from VZW then just like litobird said wait for the Moto E815. That phone looks hot!

You will not be able to send/receive MP3 ringtones via bluetooth from this phone, or any VZW bluetooth phone for that matter. The only bluetooth devices that VZW offers that would have that feature enabled are the PDA phones.

However, You can utilize the MP3 ringtone capability, and also send them to your phone, with any VZW phone that has MP3 capability. You would simply have to send them through email to [email protected]

I have done this with the LG VX-8000 and it works wonderfully. You simply pay $.25/message rate of a PIX message.

Thanks a lot guys. After reading these, I've decided to go with the 8k. I think it will suit my needs better than the V710. Thanks again.
