Thank you for your E-mail - I will return the disc in the mail since i cannot get through to anyone who is prepared to help me - I am very upset with the service - I have been trying for two weeks to get my V710 upgrade - I have been told different things each time i call - Three representatives including 351062 have told me the software is available and will send me the disc - this is incorrect as i discover - then i am told it must be done at a authorized service center - so i conference them in and Motorola says they will e -mail the new V710 upgrade 1.40 directly to the service engineer at '[email protected]' then they go off the line and i hear nothing- then i get a new pe...

Keep hammering Verizon customer service and your local stores, but chasing Motorola is a waste of time. Motorola won't even sell you the phone if you begged them to buy it. You can buy the phone from the manufacturer in many other countries, but not in America.
The carriers have too much power these days. Before you know it, the built-in alarm clocks will be a paid-for over the network service.
