Can u transport pix and video via sd
I wanted to know if you can move pix in and out of the 710 to comp with the chip, becuase the new audiovox 8940 is crippled in that extent the chip is only working with mp3, and the new 8100 copming out has crippled chip only designed to beused for mp3's and doesnt let you transport pix. thx

Yes, you can easily move pictures and ring tones with an Transflash Card/SD Adapter. Cost is about $40, so divide that into the .25 price VZW charges you to send a picture + air minutes and you'll pay for it quickly. My phone is only about 1 month old, so the SW version is 8700_01.30.8F. I use the card reader built into my HP All-in-One Printer Scanner and use the HP Image software to view or add image's on the card. For some reason, just opening up the card in Windows doesn't show the pictures, but it will show the MP3 ringtones I downloaded to it.
