Motorola V710

I'm currently using a Plantronics M2500 BT headset with my V710, and I bought the above mentioned Moto headset in case the battery die on my Plantronics BT headset since I do not have a car charger. I thought I've read somewhere here on this forum (maybe somewhere else, not sure) that I can activate voice dialing on the Moto headset by holding the ans/end button for a few seconds and it will prompt you for a command (ie, name dial or digit dial), but for the life of me I can't seem to get it to work, all it did was activate my voice recorder. It worked like a charm with the Plantronics BT headset, but I can't get the Moto headset to work in the same manner, can anyone help? Also, I'm thinking about getting another Plantronics M2500 if I can'...
