Better reception - Moto V710 or LG VX6100?

Which phone has better reception?

Reception is my main concern and I'm interested in either the Motorola V710 or the LG VX6100.

Reception is my primary concern while everything else is secondary.

Would love some thoughts.

Thanks.

reception with either will be good.
Depends also on Verizon's coverage in your area.
My girlfriend has the 6100, its a solid phone.
But no bluetooth.
Now that the V710 is 99$ after rebate, and has the bluetooth, I would recommend the V710.
I just got one today with a Jabra 250 headset, very nice. VX6100 is nice, if you want to spend less money.
1. LG VX6100
good phone, no BT, pics are 640x480 only
very easy to use. Very logical layout.
2. Motorla V710
good phone, has BT, pics are 1280x1024
video clips are decent too.
Has speakerphone.

good luck on your decision

I sell both phones and it has been my experience that the 710 gets somewhat better reception than the 6100. Both are good phones but the ability to use the bluetooth headsets tipped the balance in favor of the 710 for me. Hope this helps you.

Had Both Phones - 710 Wins hands down. Not only did i like it so much, i convinced 5 family members to switch from the 6100 to the 710. but thats just my experiences in Metro Detroit. maybe its different elsewhere. Also the features on the 710 make it just so much more appealing.

I agree hands down the V710 feature set is much better and so is the RF.. Motorola is know for there receptions and it helps the v710 is a pull out antenna...I also sell both phones and my only real gripe on the 6100 is no video

I had the 6100 and now I am using the 710. I have dropped more calls with the 6100 than the 710. I gave my son the 6100 and I love the 710. The bluetooth head set is awesome. Hope this helps in your decision.

I just paid full retail for the V710 because I was not satisfied with the call quality on my VX 6100. The 6100 dropped calls more often than I would have liked. I've only had the 710 for one day, but so far the call quality is much better.

My suggestion is to go with the 710. 🙂

Yea i had the LG VX 6100 for a a day and that was even too long for me the signal bar bounced around like a rubber ball and i dropped and lost more calls in that day than i ever have in my 5 years combined with Verizon pretty sad. The only good thing about that phone is the camera.

Interesting. Now I'd like to see a comparison in reception ability between the V710 and the E815. In particular, I'd like to know how much difference there is due to the E815 not being a trimode phone.

The E815 quality is crystal clear i cant even hear any static or anything compared to the V710 huge difference just like my A840 which is a all digital phone the reception is crystal clear. All digital is becoming the way to go. My boss has the V710 and his phone is nothing but static compared to the E815 i can hardly understand what he is saying the reception is so bad on his end.
