Switching between using bluetooth headset or main phone

When I'm using the V710, the bluetooth headset works great. But when I'm just carrying the phone around I want to be able to pick up a call and use the phone, not the headset. Right now I turn the headset off to do that. Each time I want to use bluetooth again, I have to go through the whole process of a full device search and link-up.

How can I leave the bluetooth connected, but instruct the phone to switch between using it and not with a simpler process?

Thanks,

Dave

Turn the bluetooth power on under bluetooth settings. This will allow the headset to connect automatically when powered on.

With the Bluetooh power set on (but headset off) is there an extra power drain?

You can "drop" the headset instead of removeing it, and under the menu you can reconnect during a call. I hope this helps.
