Motorola V710

Ok, so I've had my GX30 for about a year and a half now with cingular/at&t, and I really love it!!! I travel between germany and american quiet frequently so it being quad-band is a major advantage. Now im only 13 years old, so obviously all my friends had to have a different carrier than me..figures, but I want to sell my GX30 and get a V710 should I do this? the only thing I lose is the ability to use the V710 in Germany..
