Vzn firmware update and poor battery performance
Is this a normal problem that anyone has notice or is it my phone?
Had the local VZN store update firmware (8700_01.40.0R) on my Moto V710. Notice that battery strength is 4 out of 6 and then goes to low battery within a hour. Had VZN replace battery recently. Monitored the phone battery status and notice the problem still exist. Yes, I'm in a digital VZN area and did not use phone in between battery strength drop. Is there a known issue with firmware update?

Turn the Bluetooth power off and see if there is a difference.

I have the same problem with bad battery performance even with extended battery they are thinking its a defect in the charging port i know when i look outside on my phone while the battery is charging the battery meter beats really super slow and it shouldnt which is the actual reason for my last return of my most recent v710. I was charging my battery for ovver 5 hours and it still wasnt charging and bluetooth was off. Im sorry but i dont think there is a good v710 out there and thankfuly Verizon has 15 day gurantee on phones because the brand new phone they exchanged out for me the reception is awful i called customer service and i said can you hear me now? and she laughed and said no must not be the phone that guy uses on TV!

I am amazed how great the battery performance is with this phone! Formerly used a Moto T720 that had about a 45 minute talk time, and this one last 3 hours. You must have a bad one. My SW Version is 8700_01.308F, and I have no plans to let VZ mess with it!
