Effective July 9th, the law was passed yesterday that if you are using your cell in hand while driving in Chicago, you could get a $50 fine. If you have an accident while using your cell in hand, the fine goes up to $200.

I'm glad I invested in my Moto HS820 Blue tooth Headset already!

This really a good ideal!!!!! I know some won't like it but comming from someone who had a "close call" so to speak... it is. Several years ago, my Aunt had called me, I answered the phone as I had always done before... but this time the distraction caused me to run a red. Good news is nothing happen... other than cars bowing their horns at me. It was at that point I went Hands Free on my own!!!!!

Yes, something happened to me once in Holland, MI. I was in deep concentration on my cell and ran a red light and got caught. As a traveling rep, I explained to the officer that I hadn't got a ticket in almost 15 years and which worked out to be almost 500,000 miles and he said "I'll bet you weren't always using a cell phone during that time either! So I got the ticket!
