erasing the default ring tones and pix

Does anybody know how to delete the default ring tones and pics 😕 😕 😕

I have tried to select and mark the pics and then tried to delete but it just says 0 pics deleted đŸ˜ĸ đŸ˜ĸ đŸ˜ĸ

I have tried to move the pix into a "crappy" folder to delete with no luck đŸ˜ĸ đŸ˜ĸ â˜šī¸

Can anyone please help me 🙄

of all the on here nobody has figured out how to delete the default ringers/pics?

Wow, I just bought the V710 the other day and that is my first question. The pics and animations are great for a 12 year old girl but for me I just see that they are taking up 25% of my memory. Anyone able to point us in the right direction to delete them?

The only way to erase those that I have seen mentioned is to hack the phone by editting some of the seems and/or flashing the phone with alternate code. I haven't tried that though, but others swear by it.

Instead of erasing them, get a transflash card added to your phone, then tell it to store all cameras pictures on it instead and to use it for .mp3 sounds. Then you won't be bothered by the built-in ones.

However, for ringtones you have to use sounds that are on the phone memory instead of transflash. There are ways to get them moved from Trasnflash to phone memory, either by mailing them to the phone (at 25 cents), mailing them from the transflash but interrupting the transfer, or by seem editting that allows you to move them.
