This is a quote from VZW customer service.. I was told that they only sell the phones.. I could purchase it and use it on any network that would accept it.. When I asked what other networks, I was told any CDMA network such as T-Mobile or Cingular.. When I said neither of those networks are CDMA, the story changed that I could buy an unlocked V710.. Then the CSR hid behind the old, we don't make the phones routine... So, what I finally said the phones are made specifically for the carrier, approved by the carrier and the software is by the carrier and approved by the carrier and then asked again what network I could use the phone on..
