HS850 owners
I just got a HS850 from ebay. I like the design features from the 810 along with 1.2 bluetooth protocol like the 820 (I already own both) Here's my beef: When I have the boom extended and the unit is on, it disconnects and reconnects every 30 seconds or so - not when I'm actually on a call but when I'm working or driving and just have it on my head between calls. It's annoying. Does anyone else have this problem?

Mine goes into standby mode when it is idle and I have to press the function button to wake it up on ocassion. Is that what you mean or does it completely disconnect?

It disconnects and then immediately reconnects making that little tone noise. Besides being annoying it lessens my battery life 'cause the backlight keeps coming on. Does yours do this or is mine buggy? My HS810 does not have this problem.

Mine doesn't do that but I do get static in the earpiece when I end a call. No disconnects though. Sounds like you have one that is buggy. If you're able to send it back check out these sites to get another one if you want:

Are those websites reliable? Have you purchased from them personally? I just got a Motorola v710 and am anxious to get a bluetooth headset. I'm assuming the 850 is one of the best on the market.
