What size do pics that are put on the transflash and set to wallpaper have to be in order to "fit" on the screen without looking stupid, stretched, and blocky? Thanks

Because I set it at 176x220pixel and still looks messed up.

Well, 176x22 is the correct size, so you must have done something wrong. All my custom ones are that size and they all look fine.

What software do you use to resize the images? I use IrfanView.

Well, the key to keeping them from looking stretched-out etc is the original (before re-sizing) has to be in the same size ratio as the 176x220. 176x220 factors down to 4x5 (176 / 44 = 4 and 220 / 44 = 5).

So, whatever your orignal is, crop out a piece that you want as wallpaper to a 4x5 ratio. Then when you shrink it to 176.220 all will be fine.

If you crop a piece that is say 1344 wide (which is 4 times 336), the length has to be 1680 (5 times 336). Then shrink that 1344x1680 image down to 176x220.
