External camera, SD adapter , TransFlash Chip and Email

Hi Folks,
We have started to heavily use the new Mot V710, the killer feature for us the the 1.3 meg camera which is not that great quality.
Our question is, we would like to use the put the TransFlash chip into the SD adapter and insert that into one of our high quality Digital Camera's . Then put the now full TransFlash chip back into the Mot V710 and email out the high quality pictures. Does the .jpg pictures need to be in a particular directory or can we program the V710 to pickup pics from a specific (made by dig. camera) directory ?
Any ideas ?
