Well interestingly enough I contacted Motorola and let me know that both the V810 and the V710 have been pushed back to the end of July, my Verizon representative also has no updated information on the phone, so it will be a wait.

Haven't contacted Motorola yet, but as of 4/28/04 Verizon is saying that the V810 is being released the first week of May (allow for a few days delay to arrive in stores) and the V710 is scheduled for a May 23rd release. It makes sense that they are both being release around the same time sine they are in drastically different price ranges. Verizon explained that the delays have been due to FCC testing. Who knows if any of this is true but that's what I've been told. I guess we'll find out at the end of this week. 😕

how did you hear this information? I dont see it listed on the web site and I emailed motorola and they seem to not email back. Although I called Motorola sales and they told me July for V710 and "who knows" for V810. I just love how everyone gets different information. FCC already approved the phones months ago.

Click https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p =475 which is the PhoneScoop data section on the v710. It shows the phone met FCC approval on February 12, 2004. Anything after that is purely between Motorola and Verizon Wireless.

That was in reference to the original release dates back in 2003. Motorola was trying to hit the stores for the Christmas store rush, unfortunatelly they didn't make it and there was that whole head of creative design deboggle so things were pushed back. All the articles and e-mails and common sense say that these phones will be release in the next two months. I hope they're worth it. 🙄

P.S. doesn't anyone know if the v710 will work with the Prius bluetooth option? Does the prius site say?

To everyone out there who is patiently waiting for the release of the Motorola v710: I called motorola several times, I called verizon several times and I followed up every call with several e-mails to the e-mail address given on the Motorola Web-site and every answer I have received has been the same: sometime between the first and second week of June!!!!!

They claim they are testing the phone and once they work out all the bugs and whatever else they should be able to give some kind of concrete date as to when we can expect to see it available. Until then, I guess we all have to sit back and wait.

However, the woman I spoke with last assured me that if you register on the Motorola site under the ad for the free accessory you wil...
