the first 710 buyers get free accessorie but what about the west coast?
I feel gyped if the first 710 buyers get a free accessorie and there is no way for me on the west coast to get in on this action. Do u think they will release it at a universal time? i.e noon there and 9am here? or are we just out of luck??

Good point Chuck. I just e-mailed VZ and asked them how they expect to handle this. I will post answer when available.

I received a response from VZ, and as expected, not much help. They said neither the phone nor the promotion are available at this time, and suggested that I contact Motorola, which I will do, but they will probably throw the ball back in VZ's court.

I contacted moto re west coast (I live in LA) and they said"to call their cust support " which I did and after speaking to superviser, they confirmed 100% that phone is being released on 21st ( a saturday but what do I know)and that its too bad about the west coast thing, nothing they can do about it.

I just got off the phone w/motorala and they said that the phone will be available at the end of the month.

I know that things are a bit "different" on the west coat, but here in the east May 21 is on a Friday, not Saturday. I don't think the time shift effects these sorts of things 😉 !!!
Unless, of course that was a clear and concise hint that the phone will be released on the next time the 21st falls on a Saturday --
OK... Here it is!!! The clear proof that the phone will definitely be release on SATURDAY AUGUST 21!!! We heard it from Motorola!

I think that MOTO changed the rules for the contest...
