Motorola V710
Just Called My Local Verizon Store
Alright, I just called my friend who works at the local Verizon store. He got his shipment in from wherehouse today and informed me that there were no V710's on the truck. He told me that the stores have no idea whats going on in terms of release date and basically said that they only find out about the phone and its release date about 3 days before the phone comes out. I asked him about the 9900 and 7000 and he said neither were on the truck either. He told me he would let me know when he got it in on shipment so I could get it as hopefully one of the first 710 (which i doubt will happen with the whole east/west coast time thing). 😎 ITS CONFIRMED!!! The V710 will be out on friday of next week. We just received a demo unit today and are expecting shipment by early next week. This phone is awesome but its a little large for my taste. The main screen's resoloution is amazing. You can bearly see any pixelization. This phone is worth the hype and wait!! Reception quality is phenomenal! The only other problem is the bluetooth connection. I connected an HS810 headset to the V710, the calls were not as clear as on the main handset. Speakerphone is also excellent quality. Camera quality is decent but the flash is weak and doesn't add anything to the overall picture quality.
