Motorola V710
Back in Testing?
The overall consensus is the 710 will be out mid-late June, early July. However, a few people on HoFo and a tech guy at my direct store said it went back into testing and it wont be released until August, September, or October.I hope this is false. Can anyone confirm if this is true? BMR? Iconic? Braveyoyo?

Hmmm... I have a friend that knows this girl that talked to a guy at the mall who knew someone that worked at a Radio Shack that heard from a guy in New York that overheard a conversation about someone that had hard knowledge of the release date based on a posting of a discussion group on some web site but could not recall if it was for the V810 or the V710 and wasn't sure if it was the first half or second half of 2004.

The word I just got less then two hours ago that the release of the V710 will be either the first or second week of June. That has been confirmed by two seperate sources. So there you go. It has been shipped from Motorola and is in Verizon's control now. It would be too late to reconfigure all those phones anyway. Production is full force.

I have been saying this from my first post on release date for the V710. The V710 and V810 that I have had for the last 4 weeks is the latest software up graded units. They have been sent back to Verizon for re-testing. This re-test started about 2 weeks ago. Late July for the V710 and even later for the V810.
