If we all leave vzw and tell our friends and family to leave vzw for a company that understands and appreciate it customers, vzw will have to start producing products that people like... at the customers request not at their leisure. i have been a customer for many years, early 90's and i am fed up.... i am going to nextel....... 👿 😡 👿 😡 👿 😡

right, have you ever tried talking to a CSR on Sprint, or Cingular?!?! Verizon's customer service and appreciation is unparalled in comparison. And, yes, it sucks that it is taking so bloody long to release it, but since they understand and appreciate their customers 😳 , they don't want to rush the release and put out a bugg...

I agree, VZW is the best overall out there. I was a CS Rep for AT&T for over 4 years. I tracked the cancellations one week to see where "our" customers were going. VZW was #1 and Nextel was #2 (#1 if they were business customers. Nextel is OK but you have limited coverage outside of most cities or none at all.

I was recently traveling with a client who had Nextel. In rural areas he had poor or no service. Recently he switched to Verizon. I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for 15 years and have traveled a great deal around the country. They have the best coverage and I have never had a problem with customer service.

While I sympathize with your frustration, I think you would end up regretting that move if you went through with it.
Yes, VZW's phone selection leaves alot to be desired. And yes, it's painful and pathetic to be eagerly waiting for phones to be released that have been in use on other carriers for months. But they do offer t...

I'm not going anywhere. I've had them all .. and in my area at least .. they all suck except for Verizon. Every time I go to make a call .. it works, and that's what it's all about.

That would work about as good as everybody not buying gas on one particular day to stick it to the oil companies.

i.e. not very well at all.

According to your car analogy, you are obviously not as appreciative of the customer service and coverage, as some are. I would see it as a nice car (cust. svc/ coverage) with a VERY crappy set of tires (phones). It all depends what you consider the most important aspect of a wireless carrier. 😕

My ancient v60 still works flawlessly, each and every time. So do the other v120's we still have. I can't say that for the other carriers I've had.

What it basically comes down to is:

Do we want...
A) Cool phones w/ horrible customer service and coverage. (AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile)

OR

B) Not as cool phone with great customer service with great coverage. (Verizon Wireless)

I'm with Verizon and I'm going to stick it out with my LG until this phone comes out, with Verizon having this phone out what more could you want?

I have to agree that VZW is the best out there when it comes to coverage and CS. The CS I've gotten from VZW is way above the top. No other carrier comes close when it comes to CS. Their coverage kicks ass and call quality is very good to. I'm in Seattle, WA. I will say though that their phone selections do suck big time. The phones they do have look all funky and makes you wonder why they even make those phones. The carrier that has the best looking phones with good options is Sprint, AT&T & Cingular has "ok" phones. It will be interesting to see when VZW releases other new phones within the next few months.
