sorry if i'm bursting anyones bubble, but what they received at the stores were the "dummy" phones,(at least here in AZ) not the actual phones. usually you get dummies about 2 weeks before launch.

they have sent out dummies before and then never sold the phones at all so who knows.

but maybe in your area they got real ones. if they did launch will be w/in 1 week. and yes if you know somebody there and they actually have the real thing, they could sell it if they're not afraid of big brother vzw!!

i did it before!!!!

I am holding one in my hand... They just arrived in the store today. I'm a VZW retail rep and we got 10 real 670's today.. they are very cool looking.. size is similar to the 530, a litle wider though. the external display is incredible. I would believe the June 8th Launch date since we now have the real thing in the store. : )

the only thing that's weird is why would vzw launch a video phone before they had video messaging? from what i heard that will come 6/25. is that true? and if so would'nt they wait to launch a video phone till they have video messaging?

if you've heard differently let me know.

The a670's launch date is officially 6/8. The phone doesn't allow for video messaging. It is unable to send. That is why it is launching early.

I wonder... If the phone can PLAY video, will it be able to receive video messages from other phones?

All-time stupid question (OK... maybe second to "when is the phone coming out?") but is "messaging" different than "Email from phone"? In other words, can you take the video the phone produces and email it?
