Concrete pricing point on V710

Talked to my boy in Bayonne NJ and found out that the price will be $199 with 2 yr contract. Look for rebates to be added on top of that.

Expect release date is June 18th. Testing is almost over and the tweaks for the video messaging was the main glitch. Now seems to be resolved with latest firmware. Shipping to Verizon should begin on Monday next week if no unexpected hitches.

That would be great and just in time for me to take advantage of my new every 2... I would be more likely to believe $199 after rebate.

😕 I'm only 4 months into my 2 year contract so I'm planning on buying the phone at full price. I hope your right about the price 😛 I too have alot more saved up, haha 😁

I'm thiking...The V600 is $299 on AT&T's website with a 1 or 2 year contract...so the V710 has to be more than that 👿

I have to agree. I don't think this phone will be less than $299 with a 2 year contract. If Verizon makes this phone $199 with a 2 year contract, all the other phones from other manufacturers like LG, Samsung, Audiovox, etc will look expensive compared to what this phone offers. How will Verizon be able to maintain their relationship with the other handset manufacturers if they make this f...

Well you're wrong, the v710 and v600 are almost on par with features. You can rest assured, as far as the retail price goes, that the retail price for the V600 and V710 will be just about the same if not $50 more for the v710 maybe about $449 retail for the v600 and $99 for the v710. If Motorola's prices drop, which is likely, you'll probably see the v600 for $399 and the v710 for $449. Motor...

Plus, some of us lucky ones, who get corporate discounts, will get the V710 phone for roughly half-price after the rebates. I got the $379 V600 last month for $150 with my corporate discount (BAE Systems). Took the phone back though as I had a very low signal in my apartment.

Just to clarify what I meant. The price will be $199 after the rebates with a new 2 yr sign up.

Looks like the date of the 18th is very doable right now.

I'm speculating $299 to $349 with a 2 year contract without rebates and $349 to $399 with a 1 year contract without rebates. There could be a $100 rebate on this phone when it's released bringing the price down to $199 but I don't think the rebate will be immediately available, not at least for the first couple of weeks.
