Release date must be close!
If you remember when the LG VX6000 came out verizon decided to start Picture Messaging, now that the Samsung A670 is coming out and it has video messaging it will mean verizon will start doing Video Messaging, what does all of this mean, it means that an outbreak of picture phones came out when the LG VX6000 came out, wouldnt that also mean the outbreak will occur with the Samsung A670, so in conclusion to this whole thread the V710's release is near!

I must say this one last time. The a670 is not a video messaging phone. It can record (2) 15 second videos. Please don't bring up points that make no sense. The phone will be released late June, early July. I am sorry again, but thats the truth I swear.

I must agree as well. The release date for the a670 is June 8th. I've played with it already and while you can record 2 15 second clips you cannot send them. This isn't a limitation of the phone, the phone simply wasn't made to do that. The phone will be released 1 week before the launch of video messaging so it won't be confused with those video messaging phones that are going to be released. That was a nice theory by you but unfortunately it is also a wrong theory not based on facts, nice try though.

so on the 15th (Ive also heard 25th)when REAL video messaging is up n running, VZW will release all 3 video phones(710 which I hear is still in umpteenth retest, obviously a lemon, the 9900 and the 7000) all 3 on same day? Thanks

Well from the VZW employees that i've been speaking with and the numerous stores i've visited I do believe that the "REAL" video messaging is coming on June 15th. That is the reason why the a670 is going to be released today, to separate itself from the true video messaging phones as not to have anyone confused so release it a week later.
