Maybe an alternate path to pursue is the company that will or has prepared the advertising blitz for the V710.
Does anyone know who that might be? And, does anyone have connections to them?

Potentially. However, if somebody blabs, it could really ruin things for the advertising agency.
It's also probably the case that they have everything drawn out and just need ~1-2 weeks to send out the "NOW AVAILABLE, THE MOTOROLA V710! IT SLICES, DICES, MAKES JULIAN FRIES AND EVEN CLUBS BABY SEALS!" advertisements to the newspapers/TV stations/etc. At which point, the VZW insiders will also know, because it will start to...
