For those of you who want to use the V710 as a modem for your Bluetooth enabled PC/PDA...

Yes thank you, this is the reason why I have to wait for this phone and not rush into getting any other phone. My cell is starting to break too, it doesn't ring all the time with incoming calls even though the reception is good and then I have a missed call or a VM message. So I really want a new phone but I have got to wait because of the bluetooth that is awesome. Plus you can use it after 9pm and on weekends for unlimited time on the internet with a laptop or T3. I thought it was going to work but it is good to see someone who has done it.

Will a data cable do it?, since the advertise bluetooth is a dead end for the foreseeable future. False advertising tees me off even if it's just garden variety white lie fibbing to get the phone out of the store. No wonder the sales reps were feigning ignorance about bluetooth. They were all "on vacation" when the V710 informational meeting was taking place. Um hum...
