More Bad News re: V710 Release.

How reliable this is, is questionable. I spoke with a long time friend this AM that works for Verizon. He said he received an e-mail this morning that states the date has been pushed back once again to Mid/End of July. I am seriously thinking of staying with AT&T and switching to GSM and getting the V600.

No hard feelings but I hope you're wrong...lol. That would seriously suck major hairy ass balls if that were true! 😕 I just wish Verizon and Moto would get their sh*t together and release the phone. Yet we don't want a lot of bugs either...Thanks for the info E30M3...Peace 😉

I'm no phone expert or anything...but the only thing I can suggest is do a compare thing with the V710 and the V600...I do know that the V710 is saturated with much more features than the V600...but thats about all I know...If im wrong...sorry...again...I'm not a phone nerd or anything...Peace 😁

Don't switch to AT&T wireless that is all I can tell you for sure, DON"T DO IT if you care about using your cell phone as a phone. My husband is a long time att user and I have verizon, my husband had TDMA and now GSM both are about the same in the city and both are terrible. My phone service is always better then his. We just went to a small town in IOWA and his phone had no service at all and mine had good service.

Yeah, I think they also removed their V60s phones (finally) which I almost considered getting...

Also, some phones are only available through VerizonWireless.com, like the LG VX4600, and can't be found at thier stores, what's that about? 😕

The V60s, LG 4400, and sam 530 have all been discountinued. The stores are not keeping them in inventory. The warehouses are selling out the last stocks they have through fullfillment orders and over the internet. The V60s might show up in the stores again, but i highly doubt it this time.

If the Verizon stores are reducing the prices of their phones, they are obviously trying to get rid of them..."Out with the old, in with the new..." I believe that we can be seeing the V710 within the next couple of weeks 😉 It's what all companies do when they are expecting new product...The V710 will be here soon... 😁

Any ideas what the hold-up is? It sounds like the T608 all over again. I wonder what needs to be fixed?

I think it's simply that this phone has a lot more to offer, utilizes some stuff that is not yet offered to the public, thus it has a lot more testing that needed to be done in the first place.

The more complex the item, the longer it takes to make sure it works as promoted.
