phone book question...

does anybody know if this phone allows "grouping" with the phonebook. the main complaint I've seen from the v600 is that the phonebook is hard to manage because motorola doesn't allow you to group contacts and put multiple numbers under one entry...i hope the v710 allows for this. anybody know?

I owned a V600 for almost a month and it did allow grouping, it was just difficult to "see" that you could do that. The default setting made it even harder. All one had to do was enter "more" when entering someones' first phone # and then you just entered the next number, icon, etc. To recall it all you had to do was head to the persons' name and then scroll to the right or the left to see ...

Yep it's the same implementation on the t730's I purchased.

Problem is that it is not exactly obvious from looking at an entry that there are other numbers in the phonebook for that entry.

I wish they would use a different color (or bold font, or an asterisk, somthing) for the entries with multiple numbers so that you would be reminded of the fact that there are other numbers associated with this entry.

Also I don't like that they didn't go for a circular list implementation. so if you press right twice and get to the end of the list before you find the number your looking for, you then get to press left 3 times to get to the other number. DUMB! I should be able to go through the list on circular basis pressing either the left or r...
