i was just on ebay for the hell of it to see what these beasts are going for, i saw two of them going for over $600.00, i thought to myself if the phone isn't released yet, so how can this guy get em. well if you read the fine print he says the phone will be shipped as soon as i get them in mid-july. so why the F#$k would y ou pay $600.00 for a phone you can't have til everyone else does. plus with new every-two and rebates which you can combine together the phone should be well under $100.00 easy. patience and knowlegde can save some seroius flow.

Not to mention people many people are locked into their current contract so there is no NE2 for them or they don't want to sign another 2yr agreement and rebates are not going to be available as soon as the phone is released, give it 2 weeks so people are forced to pay that retail price if they want it about $449, you can count on it not equaling the a670 retail which is $389 and retail prices rarely change.

They're probably more worried about it selling out or something similar to that and not to mention he says he has a large stock. He isn't like the other fakes who only accepts Western Union, he has followed every guideline set by eBay so his auction won't be taken down.

I still pity the fool who buys it, you can just go to VZW onl...

Well I would email them and simpy state please read the fine print in the auction that you're bidding on. I wouldn't say they're getting ripped off, they can come to their own assumption as to that. I'm an eBay seller too so I believe the buyer can formulate their own conclusion without us already callin the guy a scam.

i agree, plus most people that buy **** off there aren't on forums like this to get educated on product, the average consumer sees pretty lights or a cheap price tag on a phone and thinks it's a good one. i've sold phones for over 5 years now, i know my **** in gsm, tdma, cdma, and iden, most of you out there on the forums probably do to.

i was told by a verizon rep that the a670 had a $70 rebate plus the promotional price, i can asuure you that the $389.00 price you quoted on the a670 is full retail price with no service. i've been with them for five years so every two years i get the promotional price on the phone plus rebates, plus a hundred dollar service credit, so you charge the phone to your account and pow the phone is next to free, i was told i could walk out the door with the a670 for $39.99 plus tax. make the system work for you.

Never believe what you are told. Yes the a670 has a rebate of $70, it had that coming before the phone was even released. I stated in my previous post that $389 is full retail, you m...

i get what your saying but i have gone through a ton of phones, i'm staying with verizon for more than two years so i have everything to gain, plus when i want a new phone that comes out i just have my friends buy em then we do phone insurance, i've been out of my contract for a year and a half, and am using the v60i, nothing works like it (tri-mode baby) but in that year and a half i've had hella other phones through phone insurance and guess what never had to renew my contract once, that my friend is working the system and to save you the time of telling me what i already know i know you can only claim insurance twice in a year before getting kicked off and no they don't keep track of esn's.

a phone that would be worthed it would be the v710 tri mode for once, and until 2006 analog is still needed in many spots. montana and alaska will still have analog even after the new fcc bill requiring digital only goes into effect, 2006 is also the same year the fcc is requiring all tv broadcasts to be in hi-def. welcome to the new era (in 2006)

Actually, that would be against EBay's policies and is classified as auction interference. Your user ID can be stripped for doing that.
