reviews for v710 and 810 seem unflattering at best
what are all of our options for phones that have video and pic messaging? I think that's the only thing I have to have on my next phone. It's the future, right?

its been posted here and hofo a zillion times that the testers of those seem unflattering as u say and that they're definite lemons. I guess go w the 9900 or 7000 and forget moto. Die hard moto fans claim that the "test units" r the lemons but the real ones coming out will b ok. Yeah right!!!You hear any unflattering comments and retest after retest about the 7000? I think not. That alone SAYS IT ALL!!!!!!

Maybe im just confused but seems to be the big "failure" about the v710?.....
the battery life is obvious b/c of the ppl who used it tried doing everything they could in one day and expected it not to need charging...
the recording no1 knows for sure b/c nobody has had a chance to get a bigger transflash for it
the video "quality" is bad according to some but on hofo the first guy with one posted pics he took with it and they seemed great....
wtf is everyone b*tching about?

Long time lurker, 1st time poster...
I don't see the problem with this phone yet. It looks great, has bluetooth and Motorola appears to have improved the build quality from the previous T720/730 debacle...
If the only bad news I am hearing is from a small handful of testers here and on HoFo (among what has to be a small army of testers) that are pissed because they can't listen to hours of MP3's AND film video AND make tons of long calls all WHILE leaving bluetooth enabled all day long on a single charge on the standard battery... I think it will be a great phone!!
I don't need to use my phone for an MP3 player. It's neat to have that ability for ring tones, etc. But I don't need it to be a player.
My question is will you b...

From what I've seen, the LG 7000 has the best video camera. On the 7000 forum, someone posted a link to someone using the 7000 at a raceway, (some NASCAR s**t)thats not important though. The screen is the best on the vox 9900, and the V710 has the most amount of features. As far as taking pictures, too bad that the camera from the samsung a610 couldnt continue to be made on other phones. Cause damn is it nice. So each phone has its advantages over the other. My suggestion is, which feature would you use the most. Have a digi-cam, then screw the picture quality. Have a video camera, then f**k that feature. Have an MP3 player, then f**k that too. Just get a phone that fits your everyday needs or wants. 😁
