I'm not sure if this has been answered yet, but what kind of memory card will the v710 accept? The site says TransFlash card, but I've never heard of it. (Like SD/MMC, xD picture, Smart Media, etc). Is TransFlash a proprietary media form, or have I just never heard of it?

SanDisk Corporation introduced SanDisk TransFlash™, (formerly known as T-Flash), the world’s smallest removable flash memory storage format. It is similar in size and function to embedded flash memory but can also be readily removed and upgraded to allow for a range of memory capacities as well as interoperability with other consumer electronics devices. I'm not sure if they are really worried about that one.

Unlike a digital camera, the v710 does not *require* a tflash card. Same way your PC had USB ports long before anybody actually had anything that could *use* them.
