I just heard from one of my friends at verizon that the motorola v710 is going to be released to verizon business customers first before it gets to the typically consumer. thats bad news cuz whenever it gets released (who knows maybe 2005) it will take at least a month or two before the general market gets its.

hmm...if this IS true (I dont think it is, because many of my sources say 😕 july??) how can verizon justify to the typical consumer base the free bluetooth accessory contest? because people would really b@#$ that they were left out of a contest setup by motorola for the mass consumer base, not just the buisness costumers...and verizon denied them a fair chance to win. Verizon would be digging themselves a deep s@#$hole.

just my 2 cents

Think WiFi for periphials excpet with a shoty range (about 30 feet). Its goood for wireless data transfers, wireless headsets and speakerphoenes. Its cool stuff.

IE: PowerBOok w/ bluetooth module. Phone rings in pocket, Caller ID info shows up on your powerbook. This is while u sync you address book and transfer images from the phone to you iPhoto (as soon as a hack comes out)
