if you want a flashlight, go buy an LED keychain model... you won't have to worry about your cell battery being run down. Maybe it's me, but the last thing I want to expend my cell battery on is keeping a light on...

That's true... I just meant when one needs it like once in a blue moon. I wouldn't be using it as a flashlight anyways on a regular basis. Only it can come in handy at times.

yeah you can use the flash as a flashlight, not a specific option, but if you go to the camera and turn on the flash it stays on until you exit the camera. The flash is 1 LED BRIGHT LIGHT, don't take it out of context, I was making reference to it being 1 light not the actual brightness of that light. I'm sure some of you would flame that one light and if you see the phone up close i'd flame that one light too and ask how dare that be called a flash. I suppose the v710 flash is fine if any of you took a pic with the a670 with the flash on, it turns the entire pic white and you can't see a thing. the v710 is the exact opposite, you can take a pic with the flash on, it might as well be called a flashlight because once you turn it on then it st...

That's cool. I guess it's more of a useable lighting source rather than one like you mentioned on the a670...
