Youre getting the 7000 on tuesday right? I thought when I played w it, albeit for a few seconds last week, that it was big/brick/ugly. But that was my opine. When u get it and actually devote hours/days to check it out, it'll b interesting to see how the 2 compare.Im sure you'll start posting tuesday afternoon and by thursday, we'll all have your insight, which I personally will believe. Since theres only 2 phones coming soon (9900 is either scrapped or delayed,8000 is many moons away,6255 is also moons away) we really have only 2 choices and to pick the lesser of 2 evils.So your post will weigh heavily on many peoples decision and maybe as much as 50% of my decision so lets wait till tuesday. You had asked about what the problem is in using the term "Japs." It's his First Amendment right. I absolutely agree with that. Just like it would be someone's First Amendment right to call an African-American a "Ni----" or use any other slur. The problem with the previous post was twofold:
1) The poster was referring to a Korean product, not a Japanese product, so any Japanese reference was unnecessary. However, he can be given the benefit of the doubt that he thought the product was made in Japan.
2) I (who have probably been the biggest critic) don't believe that the original poster used the term "Japs" in an effort to offend. I believe it may have been with completely innocent intentions. However, the point is that "Japs" ...

I'm not responding to your post but I just wanted a link to where the dispute originally took place, did I say a term that was out of line or what? I'm not sure what was going on as to slur or any offensive remarks made so if someone would please give me a link.
