I was reading the june issue of men's health Magazine and they had a article in it called the real deal. Basically they where comparing 2 cars, 2 phones, 2 watchs, and 2 Turntables to see if "Expensive is btter", IN this Article, strangly enough they where comparing the V710 to this really really expensive cell phone (thats not under any type of service we know of) called a Vertu Ascent (www.vertu.com) Well anyways under the phones they had the price of each and it says the V710 is $200 . Know this could be a estimate, but what if that was the actual price wit a rebate, i'm not sayin this is the price i'm jus lettin ya'll know what i saw in the magazine. Buy tha way the Vertu Ascent was $3.850. Must be a type of special phones models use, i ...

$200 - $299 is the price for a 2 Yr agreement, hopefully not after rebates but who knows. Rebate does apply to the 2 yr and those of you using NE2 can knock off another $100.

$349 - $399 is the price for a 1 yr agreement, not rebate comes with this.

$449 - $499+ is going to be the retail price for those who cannot extend their contract, no rebate comes with this but a free BT accessory does if you can register it in time.

We all have see that magazine as it's been scanned and posted everywhere.

Vertu phones are made by Nokia, very high end Nokia's for the extremely rich and for those who like to blow phones. They don't have color screens, cameras or any of the other bells and whistles are typically the phones that are made out of...

The phone itself doesn't do all that stuff... it actually comes with access to a 24 hour live butler who will schedule reservations for you and basically do whatever bitch work you want. Also, I'm pretty sure that worldwide roaming is included with their packages. I think they pay one flat rate per month (in addition to the ridiculous cost of the phone) and use it all they want anywhere they want.

A little secret:
Direct Verizon stores may not give you the rebate form for a one year contract or a phone bought at retail but you can obtain one and still get the discount. Best bet.. walk yourself over to a authorized agent tell them you bought the phone over the weekend and you lost your rebate form. Fill it out, cut off the box top and away you go. I have had 100's of customers do this (including myself)and no one has come back to tell me they haven't received it. So far Verizon does not check accounts for contract extensions during the rebate process but that could always change. I have been telling people to do this for over a year now and they haven't changed yet.

Good luck.. and remember if it doesn't work you only lost you...
