I know that you said you used a datacable for the transfers... But was it just as simple as using phone tools? or a file explorer interface? Did you have to modify anything to get that to work? thanks

Mobile phone tools wasn't working with the v710 when I tried it but it was probably my fault as to the reason why it wasn't working. I used QPST EFS Explorer to browse the phone. Yes I had to modify settings, I had to modify alot, tweak drivers, install other s/w alot to use the phone since there isn't really any s/w out to really support it now. Just read some past posts as to what I was able to do and what I wasn't able to do mainly what i wasn't able to do. When I get the vx7000 tomorrow i'll try it out as well and report back.
