I will not be making any comparisons as to which phone is better because I don't have the time to study each phone like that and seeing as how i've only had the vx7000 for 2 days it wouldn't be fair to make any assumptions like that. If you have any phone specific questions then i'd be willing to answer those but i'm not going to answer the "which is better, v710 or vx7000?" questions as those are too broad and I don't know what you look for in a phone and simply because I like a phone doesn'...

I'm very used to the a530 in terms of size. Before that, I had the vader phone... 8160... so I'm really looking for a small phone. However, both the 7000 and 710 have some nice features and i'm considering both. Since you've had a chance to hold them... how much bigger does it "feel" to go from the a530 (similar to a670) to either of those phones. Does either the 7000 or 710 'feel' smaller than the other? There is no current phone in the verizon stores which i felt were worth buying because they are all kinda 'large' compared to what i'm used to. but maybe one of these two phones will offer enough to make the jump. any thoughts? thanks.

just a few comments...
the v710 doesnt look that big imo. the 7000 looks very similar in size to the t720...which isnt a 'big' phone to me, and the 710 looks slightly wider.
the display on the 710 looks like it blows the 7000 away...also, the whole design and layout of the 710 blows the 7000 away. Im a big fan of the vx6000 look, but I think LG took a few steps back with that square, blue vx7000.
oh well, cant wait for the 710 to hit stores!

on the 7000...the outside dispay...it seems bright..I am comparing to my a670..in your photos is that with the outside screen backlight on or is it that bright in standby always?

if you go to howard cell phone forums under LG section there is a thread that tells you how.
basic you need data cable you need to get the songs you want you want to cut them down to 30 sec and cut the bit rate down and transfer it on your phone with the data cable and there you have it.

hey, did ya know u can record ur own ringtones for the phone without a data cable, or making songs shorter! 😎

for the lg vx 6000, u just go ta send picture mail, record a note and just attache it ta the picture. then send the pic ta u,and open it, u can hear the note, and then it will ask u if u want ta save it to ur play lists wer ur ringtones r located! then u can hear them when evr u want and set them as ringers for ur phone, i think u can record a note for 2mins, im not sure! so just record watever songs u like and there u go! 😎
