contest date change
IMO the contest date change means very VERY little when compared to the actual phone release date... while WE all would/will register ASAP for the contest, not everyone who gets it will register immediately nor necessarily be interested in registering at all. Some folks don't like to enter personal information more than they have to, etc. I think the August 1 deadline extension is really to make sure people don't complain about not having enough time to enter the contest.

I believe so 2, remember some people will probably order the phone online and won't recieve it the day they order it, so they need some time to get the phone in the mail before they can register it, if the contest ended at jul...
