This is the same ass who's been hijacking eBay accounts and offering these phones (that he doesn't have) -- the pattern is similar, where he'll ask you to contact him outside of eBay for a quick response.
eBay emailed me earlier in the week, explaining what this guy was up to. They're doing what they can, but rely upon people to report the problem, too.

the guy was soo silly (he copied and pasted the specs part from phonescoop) that when he copied the specs form phonescoop.com he didnt even take off the links. so when you click it it takes you to the phonescoop site ..LOL! then in the description he says the phone is unlocked. lol I never new CDMa phones where ever locked. and there are still people silly enough to bid for it.

Don't buy things overseas it is tough and it can't be insured and it legally has to go through customs when it is over a certain amount. So only a big company would go through all that who deals with shipments to the USA on a regular basis.
I once soled something on ebay to someone in canada being ignorant of how difficult it is. The carrier I sent it through (UPS) said I could only insure it up to $99 anything over that has to go through customs and is more of an involved process. So it was a chance I took that one time because I already promised but will not do again.

I just spoke to the owner of the ebay account for item 40216038 v710 in Pismo California. They replied stating that there account has been hijacked and that they had no such phone for sale. I hope nobody has sent money to this person in Europe. This is definately a scam. I have sent an email to security division and to Western Union security division regarding this. I hope this helps.
