Motorola V710
The guy at radio shack had some cool stuff to say about when he used the 710
I asked him about it, and he got all excited and told me last thursday he got to play with one. He said-
1) They told him you can have up to an 80 min length video with sound. If you have a big enough memory card, the phone will do it. He said the one that was shown to him had a 3 minute video. I told him I heard that wasn't true and he said no, if you get the memory cards it will hold long videos, they told him up to 80mins (w/ sound) if you get the biggest memory card.
2) I asked if it was unusually big, he said it wasn't any bigger than any of the other feature laden phones that are on the market now.
3) The WAP 2.0 is awesome, "Just like using a computer". And a lot faster than the phone internet he was used to.

He also mentioned that the folks at moto said that even without any advertising campaign by motorola thus far (as of last week), 7 Million people have already signed up for the email notification on the motorola website for this phones release. Impressive.

Was this guy a saleman or higher up? Cause as a saleperson at the shack i wouldn't have any opertunity to see or play with pre-release phones....it kinda makes me think he was BS'ing you with stuff her read here and on hofo.
