
Motorola V710
I hate to be the bearer of bad news...
I started reading these forums a few weeks ago to see if there was any information about the Motorola V710. I've been eagerly anticipating this phone and I wanted to get as much info as possible on it. Over this past week I was thrilled to be seeing more posts about possible release dates, so I figured its time to do some investigating of my own.
Over the past few days, I've visited numerous Verizon Wireless stores, as well as Verizon Wireless authorized retailers in MD, DC and VA. I've asked several members of each sales staff if they have any information about the phone, its release, pricing, or basically anything.

just from my experience when i went to my local verizon store one the 25th and got the VX7000, when i went to customer service to get it, bout 3 out of the 4 people behind the counter were like "what phone?" and looked at me like i was making a phone up, even tho it was in there show room. the other girl had heard about the phone an wanted it-- she seemed like she knew some about it, but the others seemed like they knew nothing at all, as the 3 of them all gathered around it while the one was programing the phone for me.
So IMO i dont really think that ther customer service people or sales reps would really know about the phone, unless from what ive read before about there intranet (something like that...

#4 I was also in verizon yesterday and nobody knew anything about the VX7000 except for one employee who had bought it the day it came in the others were clueless. They do not always know what is going on. infact, just from reading the site. I feel I know way more than them most of the time and they do a decent job. THey told me that the Lg 4600 did not exist until i took it there and got a charger for it.
#1-#4 was just like the vx7000 in the past...
