Just talked to 3 of my local stores near cleveland

All 3 said they are understanding the phone should be available within in one week here. All 3 stores told me the same thing on the phone just now.

I just had a session with the moto rep and the v810 is suppose to come out july 6th or so and the v710 will be the end of july at this point....which we all know can change at any time.

I've heard the same from the store that I go to as well (Independence, OH). Hopefully it's news that we can rely on. Especially hearing it from 3 different people in the Cleveland area.

The independence store would generally get info a bit earlier, since they are one of the regional repair centers (All repair issues I have ever had have been refered to there). My guess is that they will get the repairs for this phone, so they need to know what's going on. Notice I said "MY GUESS"

Good point! That is where I've always been referred to by customer support when my T720 needed repaired or replaced. Maybe they get a bit of an inside scoop based on the fact that their repair guys need to know how to fix them. After all, the Independence store did have the VX7000 on Friday, June 25th, which was the first day that it was put on shelves anywhere.

Think about it... For 96% of verizon workers in stores, it's just a job. They're much more concerned about dealing with customer's problems then trying to keep up with what phones are coming out when.
They simply follow the #1 rule in sales: Stick to what's in your bag. The v710 simply isn't in their bag yet.
For a few of them, it's more than just a job; it's a hobby. They like to keep up with what's new and about to be new. They read forums like this, they pay attention to ev...

Oh, I'm not looking down on them. Its fine that they don't know. I am just sad. âšī¸ My obsession with this phone is becoming sick.

North Jersey has no clue as well. In fact the one of the sales rep. told me that the v710 is 'definately' not coming out on or before Tues. đ

I just spoke to a store manager in NY (again) and they don't have the phone in yet so it's not going to be available July 1st. And I seriously doubt we'll see it on July 6th considering the upcoming holiday weekend. Based on the fact that it's not listed in Infomanager yet and the next update to Infomanager will probably be on Monday, July 12th and the updated Motorola Bluetooth promotion expiration date to August 1st, I think we'll be seeing this phone on Tuesday, July 20th or 27th.
I know that promotion expiration date is meaningless (I've said that before) but it was just updated so I don't think Motorola would have changed it to August 1st unless they had some kind of indication from Verizon that the V710 would be released in July...

Yes.
You assume that Verizon can't just update InfoManager a week earlier or a week later.
Or that they decide to silently launch it to certain markets.
Or that a massive bug was discovered yesterday and they will push things back again and Motorola was just being optimistic when they changed it to Aug 1st.
Or the Vice President of New Equipment talked to the Vice President of Cheezin...

Thank you for mentioning this. The Verizon Store located on 34th street by Macy's (those who live in NYC...know where that is)...they need to know what they're telling the public. I've been going to the store on a weekly basis since end of may and everytime i ask about the v710, each sales rep contradicts the other. One said, it will be out first week of june, mind u this was in may, next rep said, never heard of this phone, next rep, will be here in a few weeks, and to be cute, he ga...
