Seems as if everyone wants to bust our chops here. I'm saying the phone won't be released on 7/6 like people are expecting and everyone wants to post their misinformation. I make one mistake here and post the Executive Director of Data Services phone number and everyone says "ecko you lost your credibility and you're trying to build your auction". Who knows you may really need that number one day so write it down, i'm not saying clal there for little problems but that's a way you can get to the top rather quickly.

We don't know you personally. And we don't know any of the other posters, either.
Therefore we can't know if some or all of you are posting intentional lies or simple misinformation.
All any of us can do is speculate and try to base our guesses as to the actual release date on logic and on our impressions as to the veracity of the poster(s).
If you don't care about your perceived credibility and integrity that's fine. I don't really care what anyone here thinks of me either.

Actually this is phonescoop......you can create a ton of user names and simply post the same thing if you would like and credibility doesn't mean jack around here.
On eBay my credibility is well documented in my feedback as well as my integrity as a seller. If anyone thinks i'm tyring to boost the price of an auction here, that perception is ridiculous. The "supposed' date will come and pass then we'll still be sitting here waiting.
I'm not forcing anyone to purchase a v710, i've sold 3 of them so far without a problem and i'm definitely not trying to maximize profit because I only get $50 out the entire deal anyway.

Well, ridiculous or not -- that's at least one perception that you've created.
I'm not saying it's true or it's not true. That's just the impression that I came away with. And I was just trying to give you a "heads up" as to what some people are thinking.
"Perception" doesn't always correlate to reality. But in the public domain (sales, politics, media, etc.) perception IS reality.

Nope, not this model. This model is actually my own the other 2 that I sold here that was the case. The model on ebay is my own, I purchased that model myself. That is why I sold the other 2 here instead of eBay because I didn't actually have the phone but this model is that of my own that I have right now sitting in front of me.

WTF over credibility? Its a "forum" for crying loud! The going in position is: lots of opinion, some fact, and some fiction. Each reader is responsible for determining his/her level of trust and belief in what is written, right?
No one has to prove their credibility to me because, personally, I only believe some of what I read here unless proven by fact. In the case of phones being released, the only fact you can ever really count on is when you see it on the VZW site, or in the stores, or you see a bunch of your cool friends carrying it around.
If someone is trying to talk one of us into purchasing a phone on Ebay, big deal. What do you think happens when you go to buy a car, or a cell phone for that matter? Business is business...

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Like I said, I think July 7th will prove to everyone why I know that VZWSales is making everything up. However, I don't know how much you are going to agree with me after reading the remainder of this post.
I agree with VZWSales in that your post was uncalled for. I thought posting the man's phone number was out of line. While this is certainly information that anyone could have obtained with a little investigation, your post has ensured that a number of readers in this forum will flood the man's phone line with questions about the V710 and release dates. That is simply wrong.
I am not in any way saying that the V710 WILL NOT be released next week. I think that has many people confused ...
