I've been reading this forum for a while but, this is the first time I've posted. I was looking around and wanted to see the pictures of the phone that were on the FCC website. When I went to that site, there are two different submissions from Motorola. The first was the original one in February and then second is a submission from yesterday (6/29/2004), I'm not sure if this is a good sign or not, but maybe somebody can shed some light on the issue.

I can shed some light.

After reading the associated documents, it looks like Motorola is making available a larger battery for the v710 and has submitted updated tests to show that, even with the larger battery, it's still safe.

The SAR report's neat. It's got some pretty cool looking graphs. ;)

I can't tell from what's there what the new battery size is vs. the old one, but that does seem to indicate that there is a solution to the reported poor battery life, although it may co...
