I too can make a handle and say that I work for Verizon. But, I don't (obviously)..and i don't have any definite information, just like everyone else on this forum with a VZW name!

I just wanted everyone to know that my team and I will be finishing the complete testing of several phones. I have some insider information I would like to share with all of you tech savy individuals.
Verizon Wireless is having a large marketing blitz starting on Friday, July 1st 2004.
The following phones will be released:
LG VX8000
Motorola V710
Motorola V810
Nokia 6255i
Audiovox CDM-9900
There will be full page color ads in the WSJ, NYT and Boston Globe (full page for each phone).
Also, starting in August There will be $100 rebates and Buy one get one free with the purchase and 2 year contract for each of the phones listed above.

Yea, I talked to the Nokia rep on Monday and the information he gave me said the 6255 would not be available until 1st quarter 2005. Other Info: The VX8000 will launch late August with the EV-DO network. The V810 is on hold from the information given to me. The V710 will launch mid to late July. Although any information on the 9900 escapes me. Sorry.

Might I suggest a very large, very cold vodka martini? Preferably a premium brand (Grey Goose, Belvedere, Chopin, etc.). Garnish elegantly with a twist or olives. I find this beverage particularly enjoyable when I feel like I am under tremendous pressure. Enjoy!

OK, so which one is the starlet of the bunch. I am leaning towards the V710, especialy because of the bluetooth capabilities. But a concern to me also is a decent datebook.
