That sucks...Ecko says VX7000 camera is better than V710.. Please answer here Ecko04

Thats wierd... with so much hype surrrounding the v710 and all those features.. how did they manage to lose to the vx7000 in the camera category.. But is it that much of a difference?Which is better overall though?

Don't sweat it--that is what test phones are for. It could be that a completely new firmware has been issued and loaded onto the phones before they are available for the general public. I persoanlly will personally will wait to pass judgement until I have one myself.

Not really weird there are some cons to the phone as with any phone but it does have its strong points as well. Yes there is a big difference in the quality and overall I give it to LG. LG has been making quality products while Motorola has been slacking on the CDMA side while they concentrate on the GSM side.
People can say all day that it'll be a new firmware on the phone when it's released, i'm pretty sure there will be but still throwing firmware on top of firmware isn't good as it still makes the phone a POS. Then you'll have those that say wella s long as it makes the phone better and I simply don't see that happening. I had the latest firmware and I noticed some problems so I don't know about the future of Moto and CDMA, they just d...

Curt, I agree that LG has been making quality products. I had one LG phone a few years back the TM510 and it was very good. If LG made a model with Bluetooth, I'd probably consider it. I find it strange that Motorola has trouble with their CDMA phones considering that they seem to sell a lot in Asia just from looking at the model list of Motorola CDMA phones on WirelessImports.com. Someone also told me that the amount of firmware versions that they create for a given phone can be pretty ridiculous, something like 100 or 200 versions. I can't imagine trying to test all those different versions to figure out which one is best.
