i have some questions on the v710...

can you download and put games, programs (i.e. calander, etc.) on the phone via bluetooth?

what is the size of the t-flash memory card that comes with it and how big can it go?... also i heard a rumor that sd memory card was supported...is this true?

what is the price of this bad boy going to be?

thanks!

...also please don't leave any "read older threads" replies

No one yet knows for sure what the price will be. I'd expect mid-300s based on what the v600 came out priced at (379).

As for the t-flash, I'd be shocked beyond belief if the phone came WITH a t-flash card. I could see a very, very small one MAYBE (like 16meg) just to toy with and see how it all works until you buy a bigger one. I've read that t-flash will be available up to 256m to start, with 512 and 1g coming later. Others might have more info on this.

Now girls, you are both pretty.
But seriously Jimbo, stop asking the same god damn questions that have been asked a thousand times here. Especially if you know you can find the answer in older posts...that just shows you are lazy and ignorant.

I don't think we've talked about this one on the forum, so there may actually be nothing in the history to check on this one. 😁

Verizon has standardized on BREW for downloadable executable content (i.e. games, programs, etc). BREW has no sandbox, no firewall, no seperate processor to run interactive content, and (I think) not even storage protection. Hence, a badly written BREW program can wreak about the same amount of havoc that a badly written Windows 3.1 program can wreak (i.e. plenty of it).

So it's already *not* in Verizon's best interest to let you download stuff because it cuts fr...

Nope. Heck, even if they hadn't restricted what you could do with Bluetooth, you wouldn't be able to.

Gagin used to let you pull that kind of crap, but they've managed to prevent that from working.
