Will this phone really be out the 6th?
As much as I want to believe that the phone will be out Tuesday July 6th, 2004...the fact that it is not on info manager or the 99999 zip code, leads me to doubt the phone coming out the 6th...VZWsales or anyone else...what's you're opinion...I need the phone b4 the 18th...Peace all

It will be out when it's out. Nothing anyone here can say or do will change that. Just hang tight. If July 17th comes and the phone still hasn't been released -- get something else. In the mean time -- no need to stress over it.

LOL i thought ya'll always kept making noise about coverage? verizon is a dinosaur cooporation that will never keep up with cell phone trends. 😳 Even if they do release this cell phone anytime soon and lets say the a790 and kyocera koi come out too, cingular has tons of phones that will wipe these out hands down. 😲 not to talk of the phones cingular plans to release by the end of this month. 😁

Yep, exactly so when the V710 comes out, it will be the first of the best of both worlds! 🙄

GSM phones will always be better and more various then CDMA phones. GSM is used mostly all over the world and I know AT & T will except any GSM phone. So if you go to websites from different countries or find a company in the U.S. that sells imported phones, which there are plenty, the choice for GSM phones is outstanding. But AT & T sucks and in NYC for sure VZW is the best and the most important thing a cell phones needs to do is to be able to talk on it.

Granted new phones generally launch on the Tuesdays, but with the the 7th falling after the holiday weekend and our store already received our shipment for the upcoming week, it's highly unlikely the phone will be out. Generally we get a 3-5 day heads up, sometimes longer on new equipment. It's already the 3rd and nothing in sight.
