No new updates
Sorry, I wish I could tell you all what is happening with this phone at this point. I posted the last that I heard which was that it was still slated for tomorrow. However, my postings have resulted in much more trouble than I had thought ever possible. I was fired for violation of the nondisclosure agreement. I was told that if I post any more confidential information on this site I can be sued. I will still be here to talk about general issues, and I will be here tomorrow morning for everyone to attack me if the phone does not come out (hell, it's not like I have to go to work). Good luck everyone!

I'm glad somebody realizes what's going on. Some people on here are SO desperate to believe that they are getting inside information that their gullibility has reached enormous proportions. The question isn't really whether or not he was lying about the release date, or even getting fired for talking about it. The question is whether or not he even works for Verizon at all. Anyway, I'm an indirect dealer, and I predicted that this phone would be out in August. That was about April or May. Looks like I'm going to be the smart one, huh? By the way all... I have no inside information, just a working brain and the ability to detect bullshit. You should look into it.

Yep, people do get fired. If any of you guys have been longtime Verizon Wireless users, you will know there is a guy named JonManGo on the Verizon Wireless Usenet Newsgroups who used to give everyone the inside scoop on things and even when software updates were available. Well, he got fired because he can't speak for VZW officially. There are Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) and it's no different than information being leaked to foreign nations as there are things known as corporate secrets that is meant to be kept inside the company only.

I am not surprised to hear that people are skeptical of my actions, returning to the forum after I have been fired. Hey guys. I know that this may be something that you will not like, or call me a liar for, but I don't want to give you the store that this happened. Let's just say that it is in the Northern Illinois area (would make sense that they may have them, since Moto is based in Chicago).
I'm not trying to be difficult. This store has been taking care of me personally for years and I know the manager there pretty well. Well I must say, I heavily doubted VZWsales' truthfullness and accurateness info and began to flame him slightly b4 when it was doubtful of the phone being released 2morrow the 6th.... on HoFo Almighty1 had posted a pic of an ad with the v710 right beside the 7000 and left a phone number for the store. I called the number and the man said that he received the phones but they were recalled and shipped back and wasn't sure when he would be getting them back. I'll call again in a few days to see if there are any updates from him (primary source right about now)... if anyone else would like to do the same the number is .....

Haha, I called 10 minutes ago and the guy said they were recalled for a problem with outgoing voice quality. He said that he did get the phones and had to shipped them back to the manufacturer. He never said when he got them but Future Wireless has 4 stores in the San Francisco Bay Area and they are a Verizon Wireless/MetroPCS indirect:
